Rooted in Berlin’s vibrant club culture, 2HOT2PLAY embody a bold and unfiltered approach
to electronic music. Drawing from the raw energy of hard house, the ecstatic peaks of trance,
and the rhythmic grit of techno, the duo blend their wide-ranging influences into a sound that
is both nostalgic and forward-pushing.
From an early love of rave aesthetics to years spent perfecting their production craft, they have
developed a unique sonic identity: high-impact, fast-paced, and crafted to ignite the dancefloor.
Their artistic journey began with an official remix for the legendary act Klubbheads, followed
by standout releases on Polyamor, Hot Meal, and RAW, including their widely supported
track “Keep The Balance”.
Their biggest release to date, “Think About It” featuring 2000s icon Ida Corr, has been met
with critical acclaim and cemented their presence in the scene. Another highlight is the
track “Type Of Beat”, which garnered support from techno heavyweight Amelie Lens and was
released on her label Exhale Records, further proving their relevance and influence within the
underground.
Known for their dynamic performances and precise, energetic sets, 2HOT2PLAY have shared
their sound across Europe and beyond – from intimate clubs to major festival stages. In 2025,
the duo is taking the next step with their first Australia tour, continuing to expand their
international footprint while staying true to their distinct sound. They are committed to offering
more than just a DJ set: every performance is designed as a full-spectrum experience, driven by
unreleased gems and curated with intention to bring uplifting vibes.
